NOREX FENCING is a Yorkshire based fencing services company which was established in 2008. Our team have experience spanning  in excess of 30 years with an in depth knowledge of all fencing products and the industry as a whole. We are based in York and have an office and fabrication department in Garforth , Leeds.

We offer a comprehensive estimating service including a free site survey.  Much of our success has been due to our ability to provide competitive quotations and first class contract management specifically tailored to our clients' requirements. The fact that we carry out regular BSF & PFI school projects can be seen as proof of this.

Along with our own in-house manufacturing facility we operate a modern fleet of vehicles and use the latest industry recognised state of the art plant and tools. We utilise our own team of highly trained fabricators, fence erectors and electricians who all carry the relevant CSCS skills cards, ensuring quality and safety at all times whilst also allowing us to react quickly to most emergency situations.

As well as specialising in manufacturing, supply and installation of fencing and gates we have also provide a full gate automation service. We are experts in manufacturing, supplying and installing automated gates to high profile clients including the Fire Service and MOD, as well as various schools and supermarkets. Added to this we provide a full maintenance package and ensure all gates fully comply with current operating and health and safety regulations.




Paul has over 33 years experience in fencing and fabrication. He started at grass roots level and utilized his knowledge and experience to work his way up to Business Development Manager for a major national fencing contractor. In 2007 Paul was approached by Roger Hodgson, Managing Director of HC Engineering, to set up a new fencing company. February 2008 saw the start of Norex Fencing and after only a few weeks of marketing they were awarded their first contract and have since gone from strength to strength completing over 770 projects. Paul is responsible for the day to day running of the business and prides himself on delivering high quality work. To ensure this high standard, he manages an excellent team of contract managers and estimators as well as a skilled and reliable teams of erector’s.


Contracts Manager

Having worked in the fencing industry since 2006, Nick has gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of the job from Sales and Estimating through to Contract Management. Nick oversees the smooth running of projects up to a value of approx £300K.  He ensures the installation teams are well prepared, organised and working efficiently to maximise output and give the customers a highly presentable finished product. Health and Safety is at the top of Nick’s priority list and all accreditation and paperwork in relation to this is kept up to date and refreshed regularly to ensure good practice. Nick thrives on the challenges the industry brings and enjoys his job thoroughly.



Estimator/CAD Draughtsman

Scott is a passionate member of the team who sets high standards in order to meet client demands. He has over 7 years' experience in estimating and design. He has worked in both construction and engineering industries since leaving college in 2010. In 2016 he was approached by Norex to take on the role of estimator/CAD draughtsman. Scott is responsible for cost estimations on all supply and installation projects. His other roles include surveying, buying and producing technical drawings for manufacture and bespoke design work.
